Starting with the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, Apple removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the iPhone, while the MacBook and MacBook Pro models also fully embraced the USB-C connector. These changes have also produced a rather interesting result, Apple's various dongles have become the highest-selling Apple products at the Best Buy stores.

Today's report from Ceros details the various Apple best-selling products and confirms that the dongles are the real sales champions among the major resellers. Specifically, Apple's 3.5mm to Lightning adapters and 3.3ft USB-C to Lightning cable have been the best-selling Apple products in the past two years.

Yet, AirPods finally became the most popular Apple products. Though rumors have suggested that this year's new iPhones will offer a USB-C power adapter, which means that the demand for dongles will drop. Nonetheless, on the new iPhones, Apple may stop offering 3.5mm to Lightning adapters, so the sales of dongles are still uncertain.
