Apple Releases Shortcuts 2.1 Beta 1 To Developers, Adding New Weather And Photos Commands

Apple has began offering Shortcut 2.1 beta 1 to developers for testing, and the new version brings new Weather and Photos Shortcuts. Apple brings new Shortcuts app to iOS 12, integrating previous Workflow app, and hopes that Shortcuts would make it easier for users to complete some of the tricky tasks.

New Weather commands in Shortcut 2.1 can perform many functions, such as getting current weather conditions and getting weather forecasts. You can select a photo from the album and then get weather information based on where the photo was taken. Also, you can change the HomeKit scenes and the Apple Music playlist according to the current weather.

Are you using Siri Shortcuts? If you have good ideas, don't forget to share them with us!
