Spotify Finally Coming To Apple Watch, Now In Beta Testing

According to few reddit users, popular music stream service Spotify will finally coming to Apple Watches as the public testing program available right now via Apple's TestFlight app, however, the exact time frame has not announced yet, perhaps later this month at earliest.


The upcoming Spotify's watchOS app will uses Apple's internal named StreamKit framework that will enable cellular Apple Watch models to receive data from third-party apps. The watchOS app looks like very basic, it just shows the app's icon, playback controls, and a toggle for shuffle mode. As you might guess, it doesn't support Offline mode for now.

These tester also says the app has yet to be optimized for 40mm and 44mm sized Apple Watch Series 4 models. Still today, Spotify is the most popular Music app on App Store, the music streaming service now has over 87 million paid subscribers, twice the amount that Apple Music has, which was at 43.5 million, though the figure hasn't update in a while.
