Anker's First Lightning To USB-C Cable Now Accepts For Pre-Order

Not long ago, Apple opened the Made for iPhone (MFi) program, allowing third-party manufacturers to produce Apple-certified Lightning to USB-C cables, which resulted in several accessories makers announces their cable options, and Anker was one of them.

Now, the company has announced that the Lightning to USB-C cable accept for pre-order and will be shipped later this month. Anker's cable has a lifespan of 12,000, it comes with a lifetime warranty, and is priced at $1,99. It is will be available for delivery at the end of the month. Anker previews the cable at the CES tech trade show last month, when it announced the release date was March.

Compares to Apple's Lightning cable, which it's available in 1 meter (3.2 feet) length, and costs $19, Anker's cable comes in both three and six-foot lengths and in variety of colors, though pre-orders are currently only limited to the three-foot White PowerLine II, and is cheaper than the official one.
