Just moments ago, Apple published a new advertisement on its YouTube channel titled “Bokeh’d” and highlights the advanced bokeh and depth control features on new iPhones.

The ad highlights two mothers, one of which who took a photo of two children that put a bokeh over the other mother’s child. This led one of the mothers to feel offended by her decision to blur out her child. Then, she shows the mother the advanced bokeh features on the iPhone that can remove the bokeh effect.

Apple describes the ad as, “Depth Control on iPhone XS and iPhone XR lets you adjust the bokeh effect on backgrounds before or after you shoot. So you can turn a cute portrait of two kids into a stunning portrait of one kid.”

Depth Control was introduced on iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and Xr, and allows users to adjust the depth of field after the photo is taken. “Take a great portrait and make it even more amazing with Depth Control, which lets you adjust the depth of field to blur the background as much or as little as you want,” says Apple
