Apple CEO Tim Cook To Testify In Apple Versus Qualcomm Trial Next Month

According to Bloomberg, Tim Cook will be in the trial of Apple versus Qualcomm patent dispute next month to testify for Apple, and that he will testify about Apple's business strategy, financial performance and agreements with other technology companies.


In addition, Qualcomm CEO Steven Mollenkopf, Apple's former vice president of hardware Bob Mansfield, Apple’s head of Marketing Phil Schiller and former legal adviser Bruce Sewell will also be witnessed in the trial. In addition, executives from Foxconn and Samsung is expected to make an appearance in the trial as Apple suppliers, which should be related to patent fees.

The April trial involved Apple’s first lawsuit against Qualcomm in January 2017, when Apple accused Qualcomm of charging unfair royalty and using an exclusive strategy and high patent license fees to maintain its LET chip primary supplier role. The trial will be held on April 15th.
