Apple Releases Beta 5 Of iOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2, tvOS 12.2, And macOS 10.14.4



Apple today seeded the fifth developer beta of iOS 12.2, two weeks after it seeds the third developer beta of iOS 12.2, at the same time, it also made fifth developer beta of watchOS 5.2, tvOS 12.2, and macOS 10.14.4 available for testing.

iOS 12.2 introduced Apple News to Canadian users and added several new Animoji characters, including giraffe, shark, owl, and boar. Also in iOS 12.2, Apple tweaked the Wallet app with a new interface for Apple Pay Cash, added more security options to Safari, as well as display warnings when visiting a http website,

Furthermore, Apple redesigned the icon of Apple News, which now includes the white background, and the middle is an abstract letter "N", modifying the app icon indicates the upcoming arrival of Apple’s news magazine subscription service, which is likely to announced at the March 25th event that will be held at Apple Park, where the company is also set to unveil its TV streaming service.

Apple also fine-tuned the Control Center interface, with the icon for the Remote Control now resembles Apple TV Siri Remote logo. The UI inside the control has been tweaked as well, and the TV and microphone buttons have been interchanged: the button that fast forwards and rewinds for 10 seconds during playback returns to the bottom corner of the touch area.

Otherwise, watchOS 5.2 introduces a new watchface for the Apple Watch Hermès models; tvOS 12.2 now let you ask Siri to play specific media on an Apple TV from an iOS device; macOS 10.14.4 includes Safari Autofill feature and automatic dark mode.
