Apple Introduces All-New 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro Models With New Processors And Updated Keyboard

Apple has just announced the all-new 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro models, which the company claims that these are the fastest Mac notebooks ever made. The refreshed versions don't include any design change, however, it does feature Intel's 8th and 9th-generation processors, and for the first time, featuring eight cores on the high-end models, while also introduced an updated keyboard that supposed to substantially reduce issues.

“Whether it’s college students mastering a course of study, developers building world-class apps or video editors creating feature films, we’re constantly amazed at what our customers do with their MacBook Pro,” said Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac Product Marketing. “Now with 8-core processors for an incredible performance boost, along with its stunning Retina display, fast storage, all-day battery life and running macOS, MacBook Pro continues to be the world’s best pro notebook and we can’t wait to get it into our customer’s hands to see what they do next.”
According to Apple, the new MacBook Pros now delivers two times faster performance than a quad-core MacBook Pro and 40 percent more performance than a 6-core MacBook Pro. The new 13-inch model will use updated quad-core processors, while the 15-inch version to sport both 6-core and 8-core processors. Starting at $1,799 and $2,399 respectively, the updated Pro models are available today through apple.com, with retail stores availability later this week.

Other than that, there's nothing really appeals to me personally: same graphics, same bright and colorful Retina display, same SSD configurations, along with the Apple T2 Security Chip, all-day battery life, Thunderbolt 3 ports, stereo speakers, and macOS. Though, the Cupertino firm did confirm through The Loop that the updated keyboard "should substantially reduce problems that some users have seen."

It's worth to note that if you have purchased a 2018 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models and run into problems with the keyboard, Apple will replace it with the updated 2019 keyboard. Alongside that, Apple has launched a new Backlight Service Program for the 13-inch MacBook Pro that's sold in 2016. You can set up an appointment with either a Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to address the above issues.
