Apple Issues First Beta of iOS 12.4, macOS 10.14.6, watchOS 5.3, and tvOS 12.4

Apple has released the first beta version of iOS 12.4, macOS 10.14.6, watchOS 5.3, and tvOS 12.4 to developers. If a proper developer profile is installed, users can update their devices to the latest beta via OTA.

As a 12.x upgrade, iOS 12.4 may include some new features, most likely Apple Card related features. At the March event, Apple introduced Apple Card, a new credit card that's linked to Apple Pay that it allows you to pay purchases that can't be through Apple Pay. According to the company, Apple Card will be officially launched this summer, which we may see it in the future iOS 12.4 betas.

We have not found any new features in macOS 10.14.6, watchOS 5.3, and tvOS 12.4 betas, so these updates are most likely be focused on bug fixes and speed improvements. We will update the post if a new feature has been discovered.

We expect that iOS 12.4, macOS 10.14.6, watchOS 5.3, and tvOS 12.4 will be the last updates to the operating systems of iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5, and tvOS 12, as Apple now working towards iOS 13, macOS 10.15, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13, which should be announced at the annual Worldwide Developer Conference next month.
