Apple Increases iPhone 11 And 11 Pro Orders Because Of High Demands

Due to strong demands, Apple asked suppliers to increase their orders for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro by 10%. which is about 8 million units, reports Nikkei Asian Review. It is not unusual for Apple to ramp up orders gradually because, after the release of new items, it will evaluate the market as it prepares for the holiday shopping season.

Previously, Apple has been very conservative about the number of orders. however, the demand for iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro was stated to be rather better-than-expected, and thus the company slashed iPhone 11 Pro Max's orders to balance the production with demand.
"This autumn is so far much busier than we expected," one source with direct knowledge of the situation said. "Previously, Apple was quite conservative about placing orders," which were less than for last year's new iPhone. "After the increase, prepared production volume for the iPhone 11 series will be higher compared to last year," the source said.
With improvements in the camera, the Apple iPhone 11 series may attract more users who are ready to upgrade from older models, especially the iPhone 11, which has a lower price than the previous iPhone XR. Since the iPhone 6 series, Apple's smartphone sales are declining every year, but the iPhone 11 situation has begun to reverse. Some research institutes say that the iPhone 11, and 11 Pro is among the most popular models in the past five years, which all comes down to the new pricing strategy that Apple is using.

In addition, in order to further increase iPhone sales, it is rumored that Apple will release iPhone SE 2 in the shape of iPhone 8 next year, and will carry A13 chip and 3GB of RAM, so there could be a potential upgrade cycle happen in 2020.
