New iPhone Concept Released; 12 Pro Said To Feature 6GB RAM Of RAM

A few days ago, Ben Geskin, who routinely broke news about Apple's upcoming iPhone, gave us an idea of what the perfect iPhone will look like in his mind: notch no longer exists and the middle frame returned to the iPhone 4 style.

Ever since the iPhone 6 series was introduced back in 2014, Apple's smartphone lineup has officially entered the big-screen era, the company changed the middle frame of the iPhone into a sleek design and made a compromise for the feel. Nonetheless, there are still fans out there crossing their fingers that the good-old iPhone 4's middle frame design would return someday.

Ben Geskin said that he is very fond of the sharp middle frame style of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5, and hopes that Apple can make such changes in the new iPhone.

Of course, it is not realistic to say that next year's iPhone won't include the notch, though the size of the cutout may become smaller.

In a recent research note, Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo pointed out that the 2020 iPhones will embrace 5G. The architecture of the new iPhone would still use the metal middle frame and the front and rear 2/2.5D glass design, but the metal middle frame exterior will be updated to closer to the iPhone 4 visual design, replacing the current exterior layout.

Speaking of the 2020 iPhones, Barclays analyst Blayne O'Curtis recently took a trip to Asia, mainly to meet with Apple supply chain vendors. Today, O'Curtis shared some of his predictions for the 2020 iPhones, he believes that iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max might feature 6GB of RAM, while the lower-end iPhone 12 to feature 4GB of RAM.

The analyst also said that the new iPhones may have fresh rear camera sensors, such as the addition of a rear-facing 3D sensing that bring better AR capabilities.

Lastly, O'Curtis mentioned that the production of iPhone SE 2 will begin next February, and will include an A13 chip that's found on iPhone 11 Pro Max, 3GB of RAM, and will come in a 4.7-inch screen size
