This Cool Open-Source Mac Software Let You Disable Night Shift For Certain Apps

First introduced in iOS 9.3, and later expanded to macOS with the release of macOS 10.12.4, Night Shift is a built-in feature that enables the Mac's screen to filter out blue light at night and turn it into a warm yellow tone that is good for vision and sleep, as the blue light is believed to have a harmful effect on your circadian rhythm, making it harder to fall asleep and stay asleep.



While some find useful when browsing a web page or a document at night with the Night Shift on, but if one is a creative professional who uses software such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Final Cut, he or she must be sure that the screen color is correct, otherwise, it may pose a major obstacle when editing photo and video.

This is when an open-source source called Night Shift Control could come in for uses, as it will automatically turn off Apple's Night Shift feature when you use the software your choice to disable the Night Shift.
