Korea Mobile Carrier Pre-Order Poster Suggests iPhone 9's Existence

We have heard a lot about the 4.7-inch iPhone right now, which is widely rumored to be released later next month, however, it's unclear what Apple will call this model. Interestingly though, outside of a Korea Telekom store (KT), there is a pre-order poster that clearly depict the name "iPhone 9," with even an image of AirPods appeared on the banner...

If you take a closer look, the rear panel of the "iPhone 9" appeared in the poster looks similar to iPhone 8 and even the iPhone XR, suggesting it's rather a successor to the iPhone 8 than the iPhone SE. It is worth to note that the image of the upcoming affordable iPhone shows it include a single-lens rear camera system and a centered Apple logo.

Rumors also have it that the iPhone 9 will feature the same A13 chip as the iPhone 11 series, 3GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64 and 128GB storage options, retains Touch ID fingerprint physical buttons, and the color options are Space Gray, Sliver, and Red, and starting at $399.

Alongside the iPhone 9 poster, there is a one for the Galaxy S20 series that could comes with Galaxy Buds+ in the box, Samsung will be holding a Unpacked event on February 11 to announce their latest smartphone series, directly competing Apple's iPhone 11/11 Pro.

Maybe we should not rule out the possibility that these pictures are not legitimate or distorted in some way. After all, it's too early to advertise the arrival of iPhone 9, considering reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the new iPhone would be released sometime next month.
