tvOS 13.4 Suggests Apple Is Working On A New Apple TV Product

Yesterday, Apple started a new round of OS beta testing, releasing the first beta of iOS 13.4, iPadOS 13.4, macOS 10.15.4, watchOS 6.2 and tvOS 13.4 to developers. Already, according to the 9to5mac article, there appears to be a new Apple TV hardware codenamed T1125 found in TVOS 13.4, which suggests that Apple is working on a new Apple TV device that would be released soon.

The current Apple TV 4K codename is J105a, whereas the previous Apple TV HD codename is J42d. The new model that appeared in TVOS 13.4 is an internal test unit, as it begins with T.

It's vague what new features are coming in the next update of Apple TV, however, considering the fact that this hardware is based on the arm64e architecture, which is the same as the A12 and A13 bionic chip architectures, Apple would likely adopt either A12 or A13 chip.

The current Apple TV is powered by the A10 Fusion chip, which supports up to 4K resolution and HDR. As a result, a faster processor would benefit the overall performance and experience of Apple Arcade.
