Apple Files Upcoming iPad Model In Eurasian Economic Commissions Database

The Eurasian Economic Commission database today added a new iPad with the model number A2229. This database has become a reliable source for what upcoming products Apple will release in the matter of weeks or months, because the company must report on the encryption technologies the new products use before it can sell it in the region.

Apple products generally appeared in the Eurasian Economic Commission database a few weeks to a few months before it went on to be officially available in retail stores for purchase.

However, the database does not describe the new iPad product in detail, it just says it is an Apple-branded tablet running iPadOS 13. There are rumors that the new iPad Pro will be launched in the spring, but this product may also be Apple's new entry-level iPad.

Regardless, according to the iOS 14 code, the upcoming iPad Pro update will include a new triple-lens camera setup, which will include a ToF sensor, a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a telephoto lens.
