Apple Watch Series 6 And watchOS 7 Said To Include Panic Attacks Detection

Leaker Jon Prosser has said that Apple’s next-generation Apple Watch and watchOS 7 will focus on new mental health features. He claims that the upcoming Apple Watch will include a blood oxygen sensor and Apple will use the sensor to implement new features related to mental health. For example, panic attacks detection.

Prosser said that the new mental health function can determine whether there is excessive breathing by measuring the oxygen content in the blood and heart rate.
They can identify a panic attack before it happens and warn you on your watch. Especially if you're driving, they'll ask you to pull over and they'll offer breathing exercises once you get pulled over.
Prosser said that although he hopes this feature will be released this year, the feature "may also be postponed until next year." Apple is expected to announce the launch of the panic attacks detection at WWDC 2020. However, if the feature depends on the blood oxygen sensor, it is unlikely that Apple will release it until the new Apple Watch is released unless it can be realized by utilizing some components of the older Apple Watch models.

Previously, Apple YouTuber EverythingApplePro and another leaker Max Weinbach have broken the news that panic attacks detection will be added to the next generation of Apple Watch, the latter said that the Apple Watch can identify it when users are under higher pressure, though, they didn't suggest the capability needs to rely on the blood oxygen sensor to work, but it will be provided on Apple Watch Series 4 or later.
