To promote the app Shazam, Apple will offer new users a five-month free trial of Apple Music.

Apple usually provides users who have not subscribed to the Apple Music service with a free trial of up to three months. This promotion is by far the most cost-effective one.

What you need to do is download the Shazam app on your iPhone or iPad. Once a song is recognized, you will see the option to play the song in Apple Music. Click the option, and you will see a button that will let you try Apple Music for free for five months.

According to Shazam's App Store page, the deal will last until January 17, 2021, and it will be available in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, and other countries.

Shazam is an app that can identify music playing around you. In October 2016, it was announced that Shazam had been downloaded more than 1 billion times. In December 2017, the company was formally acquired by Apple for $400 million and became a division of Apple.
