Rumors: Apple To Increase Production of 10.5 iPad Pro, Unveil At WWDC Conference

According to the "DigiTimes", which reported that the source from the supply chain is "echoing" previously KGI's report on Apple's upcoming 10.5-inch iPad Pro, that the new iPad Pro shipments in this month, is about 500,000 units, but this figure will rise to 600,000 Units in July.

This means that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be released in the next few weeks, the most likely date is June 5 held at the Apple WWDC Worldwide Developers Conference. The new device is expected to have many similarities to the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro, but Apple is obviously reducing the device's frames so that it can increase the display area without changing the overall size.

Demand for the tablet is expected to pick up strongly starting the end of the second quarter and will reach the peak in the third quarter, increasing the device's monthly shipments to over four million units in June and July, the market watchers noted.
"DigiTimes" also believes that 10.5-inch iPad Pro total shipments will reach 6 million in 2017. In addition, they also expect 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be updated this fall.
