Apple Released iOS 11 Beta 9 And tvOS 11 Beta 9, Here Is What's New!

Apple today released iOS 11 beta 9, only 3 days after seeding iOS 11 beta 8 to developers and over two months introduced the update in WWDC 2017. Developers who registered from the Apple Developer Center can download the new iOS 11 beta OTA once the proper configuration profile has been installed. The iOS 11 adds new features like drag-and-drop and a redesigned multitasking interface for iPad, a new customizable Control Center, and more. 


Apple’s previous iOS 11 betas have revamped few app icons like Maps and App Store, as well as tweaked some Control Center elements like Music widget in Control Center now displays the Music app icon. According to Apple's release notes, they seem fixed tons of bug in this beta. As we approach the final release next month, we expect more stability and fewer noticeable changes.

The release notes says using 3D Touch with data detectors (phone numbers, addresses, etc) should now works correctly, fixed several of third-party apps issue, Airplay should works now in third-party apps. Siri also gains new voices for both genders of Brazilian Portuguese, Canadian French, Dutch, and Swedish, lastly, when tap the Wi-Fi toggle in Control Center now disconnects from the current network and temporarily disables Wi-Fi networking.

Apple also seeded tvOS 11 and watchOS 4 beta 8 to developers, one week after releasing the sixth beta. Developers who registered from Apple Developer Center can download the tvOS 11 update by connecting the Apple TV to a computer with a USB-C cable and installing the beta software using iTunes.The new feature in tvOS 11 are the Home Screen Sync, which Keep your apps and Home screens up to date across any Apple TV, Automatic Dark Mode and Automatic Pair AirPods with tvOS 11.
