Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 Vs Apple's iPhone X, Here Is What You Need To Know

Currently, iPhone X and Galaxy Note 8 are highly fashionable in the smartphone markets right now, perhaps they even represent the pinnacle of today's smartphone technology. Both are stunning devices, packed full of features to easily make gadget-lovers swoon, so which one should you choose?

First of all, certainly Galaxy Note 8 is larger than the iPhone X,, they have no physical buttons on front, if you really wants a physical Home button, then the only choice is iPhone 8. iPhone X finally featured with wireless charging function, but Samsung has been adopt the feature in their own flagship for a long period. These two phones are both water resistant, but Note 8 have more advantage because of IP68 level, while iPhone X is IP67 level.


As for screen, from what I think, this is most similar place when compare to Note 8 and iPhone X. Both employ full-screen design. While Galaxy Note series always been known for bigger screens,  so it's not surprising we seen that it has a 6.3-inch OLED screen. The iPhone X has also become the first iPhone equipped with OLED screen, Apple called "Super Retina HD," iPhone X still supports 3D Touch.

From the accessories point of view, the biggest difference in Galaxy Note 8 is configured a S Pen, I'm wondering when Apple Pencil will be applied to the iPhone? But someone also pointed out that Apple Pencil actually in iPhone X new OLED screen technology can not achieve any effect, so to maintain the status may be the best choice.


Galaxy Note 8 is the first Samsung's first smartphones that uses dual camera system, users mentioned its dual camera far better than Apple's iPhone 7 Plus. However, due to the current iPhone X not officially launch yet, we can't tell the iPhone X specific camera details, but from the configuration, then compared to the iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone X dual camera to seems enhance a lot,

In the software part, iPhone X expected to run Apple's latest iOS system - iOS 11, Galaxy Note 8 is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, Galaxy Note 8 will eventually get Android Oreo update. Speaking to AR, with ARKit, iPhone X user will be able to experience numerous of AR app, when Google's ARCore arrived, Galaxy Note 8 should get a few of augmented reality app also.


Lastly, iPhone X pre-order kick off on October 27, 64GB priced at $999, whilst 256GB price of $1149, While Galaxy Note 8 lowest price starts $ 929.99.
