Brazilian developer Guilherme Rambo has managed to extract a cute new ringtone exclusive for iPhone X from the iOS 11.1 code and share it on Twitter, with a Reddit user making a downloadable copy of the audio file that can be used as a ringtone on older iPhones. Read below for the instructions to get iPhone X Reflection ringtone on any iPhone.
Reflection, with its soft, mellow twinkling sound, is the new default ringtone on the device. "It's called Reflection and it sounds great. Because it's new, I missed two or three calls before I realized I'd been listening to my own phone ring. I mention this because it's the default ringtone and so you might miss it, too." Says Forbes' David Phelan, who has an iPhone X review unit.
- First of all you need to download the Reflection.m4r ringtone file on your computer.
- Once it is downloaded open iTunes and connect your iPhone to it using a USB Cable.
- Once your iPhone is detected drag and drop the downloaded Reflection ringtone file on your iPhone in the left sidebar of iTunes.
