Apple Releases Fourth Beta Of iOS 11.2.5, macOS 10.13.3, watchOS 4.2.2, And tvOS 11.2.5

Apple today releases the fourth beta of an upcoming iOS 11.2.5 update to developers, one week after seeding the third beta. Developers who registered from Developer Center can download the iOS 11.2.5 beta over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed on your devices.

The iOS 11.2.5 update introduces a new feature that allows Siri to instantly stream a news podcast when asked about the news related questions. This new feature defaults to a daily news recap podcast by The Washington Post, users can also be switch to Fox News, NPR, or CNN shows upon request.


However, this new feature can only be invoked when you using Hey Siri or asking Siri about the news when using CarPlay or with headphones connected. And if you activate Siri using the side button or Home button of a device, standard Apple news headlines are provided instead of the audio-based news highlights.

The fourth beta of an upcoming macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 update was also released to the developers, one week after seeding the second beta. Members of Developer Center able to download the beta by using Software Update mechanism in Mac App Store with the proper profile installed.


As usual, if an beta update shows on iPhone and Mac devices, it will also appears on Apple Watch and Apple TV devices, So now watchOS 4.2.2 beta 4 available for Apple Watch owners, tvOS 11.2.5 beta 4 is also seeded to Apple TV users as well. To install the update for Apple Watch, go to Watch app on your iPhone, and then click General - Software update. TvOS 11.2.5 can be obtained onto the Apple TV via a profile that's installed using Xcode.
