While the text messaging supposed to make communication easier, however, other people and companies can also send spam through unwanted texts. Over the years, Apple kept on improving the security features provided by the iOS, with iOS 10 and 11 you can now block these annoying text messages, here is how to do it!

1. Tap the Messages app on the Home screen.
2. Tap on the message you received from a spammer.
3. Tap on details. You’ll see it in the top right corner.
4. Tap on the “i” icon.
5. Tap on the Block This Caller option by scrolling to the bottom of the page.

If you want to block a specific phone number (or numbers) from your iPhone Contacts that sending your texts, calling you, or even trying to Facetime with you. You all need to do is go to stock Phone app, then tap on the person you wish to block, you'll see the "Block this Caller" option, tap it, and confirm the action.

How to block the texts if both methods won't work, then you should contact your wireless carrier as they normally have phone spam tools. Now, we hope unknown person can't send you text messages, make phone calls, etc.
