New Rumor Suggest Apple Will Launch 4.2-Inch iPhone SE 2 At WWDC This Year

According to the Chinese site QQ which is claiming that Apple will launch a new version of the iPhone SE at this year’s WWDC. The site claims iPhone SE 2 will have an A10 processor, 2GB RAM and two storage options at 32GB and 128GB, plus the phone will retain Touch ID, rather than switch to Face ID.

Cited supply chain news, QQ says the display size will increase to 4.2 inches, represents a tiny change from the existing 4-inch display or 5% bigger, so would offer no real usability benefit and something most people wouldn’t even notice.

While most of these tech specs should make sense, however, the source doesn't have an established track record and it says the device would cost $600, so this rumor should be viewed with somewhat skepticism, as KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo cast some doubt on the rumors.

Kuo expects that if there is really have iPhone SE 2, Apple could introduce few out-facing changes like a faster processor and a lower price, but lacking iPhone X features including Face ID, OPED screen design, and wireless charging.
