Apple Released Second Beta Of iOS 11.4, watchOS 4.3.1, And tvOS 11.4 To Developers

Apple has released second beta of iOS 11.4 to the developers for beta testing, two weeks after seeding the first beta. Beta testers needs to sign up from Apple Developer Center to download the beta profile. In order to update your device to iOS 11.3, you need go to Settings - Software Update.

Apple has introduced a new ClassKit framework for iOS 11.4 at its March event. Both AirPlay 2 and Messages on iCloud are present in the iOS 11.4 beta after was being removed from iOS 11. On the HomePod, the stereo support returns in beta, but it requires HomePod's 11.4 software to work.


Aside from releasing iOS 11.3, Apple today also seeded second beta of watchOS 4.3.1. To download the new watchOS beta, go to the General - Software update. The new update includes a warning that specifically applies to older apps made for watchOS 1, suggesting these apps will not able to run in the future versions of watchOS.

In addition, the company also seeds tvOS 11 beta 2, which can be downloaded onto the Apple TV via a profile that's installed using Xcode. All developer beta requires proper configuration profile. Like iOS 11.4, the upcoming tvOS update will support AirPlay 2, as Apple TV icon returns in Home app with room assignment.
