New Renders Confirmed 2018 iPhones To Bundle With 18W USB-C Charger

New renders made by ChargeLab claims to show the upcoming 18-watt USB-C power adapters for 2018 iPhone models, which included a 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus, a second-generation of iPhone X, and a low-priced LCD model.

According to ChargeLab, the round-shape power adapter would connect to an iPhone with a Lightning to USB-C cable, and expected to be included in the box. Even though the render appears to depict the European version, asides from different pin ends, surely US variant would look mostly the same.

It is expected to make it more convenient and convenient. Compared to the USB-A port that Apple has been using since 2007, the use of USB-C should deliver much faster charging speeds. Several testings found that by using the 18W wired charger, the device has reached 79% of battery capacity in one hour, while 5W charger only passed 39% of charge.

ChargerLab says these renders based on a source that has the close connection to "inside production line," plus that it also corroborates the previous Weibo report, so it seems pretty trustworthy. Likewise, we assumed that the charger won't be included in the box of iPhone SE 2 because of its low price.
