Apple Continues To Expand Its Self-Driving Fleet: Earlier today, the California Department of Motor Vehicles (Via macReport) confirmed that Apple currently has 55 self-driving vehicles and 83 drivers who are eligible for testing, a steady increase of 45 self-driving permits that possessed in March of this year.

Over the past year, Apple’s self-driving efforts have been puzzling. Most rumors suggest that Apple will build its own autonomous software/hardware suite and will license other manufacturers instead of making its own branded cars.
