2018 MacBook Pro Models: Faster SSD Speed, True Tone Extend To Connected Displays, Better Keyboard To Prevent From Dust

Apple's new MacBook Pro has already begun shipping, some users have already received their package. Laptop Mag got the new 13-inch MacBook Pro and tested it for the first time and observed it to be "fastest system in its class." They tested a $1900-priced 13-inch MacBook Pro with a 2.3GHz 8th generation Core i5, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro processor has a Geekbench benchmark score of 18055 (multi-core), surpassing a number of laptop brands such as Dell, HP, As, s and Microsoft. The scores also beat all 2017 MBPs, even faster than some iMac models. so it's believed that t15-inch version will be even faster.


Apple's 2018 MacBook Pro models bring an important improvement for True Tone display technology so the color of the laptop's screen can be adjusted according to variations of the ambient light in a room. Users can enable and disable this feature in the Display sections in System Preferences.

From Apple's support document, the new MacBook Pros' True Tone display technology can adjust the Apple Thunderbolt Display using an Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, the LG UltraFine 5K Display, and the LG UltraFine 4K display.

Apple's new MacBook Pro has just been released, and the discussion about its third-generation butterfly keyboard has been very energetic for the past two days. iFixit got their hands-on of the keyboard, they say during the teardown, they found a new layer of thin silicon barrier has been added to prevent dust, keys from seizing up and reduce noise.
