Apple's New Retail Store In Milan, Italy, Apple Piazza Liberty, Will Open This Thursday

In a Newsroom post, Apple officially announced that its Apple Piazza Liberty, a retail store in Milan, Italy will open this Thursday. The store that includes both a grand public plaza with a dramatic glass fountain and a store below, brings the company's latest retail design to Italy for the first time.


Like every other Apple Stores, Apple Piazza Liberty will host a variety of Today at Apple sessions, such as photography, filmmaking, music creation, coding, and much more. According to Apple, the new store will also host a special month-long Milan Series, where 21 local artists will share their vision for Milan's creative future.

“There’s no better expression of our vision for Apple stores serving as modern-day gathering places than Apple Piazza Liberty,” said Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail. “In a city with such rich history of art, entertainment and creativity, it's an honor to establish a space where anyone can be inspired to learn, create and connect with their neighbors.”

The store will employ 230 employees, many of whom are from Apple Stores around the world. Apple Piazza Liberty will open on Thursday, July 26 at 5 pm. The retail store is located at the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most attractive pedestrian streets in Milan.
