Apple Releases watchOS 5 Beta 9 To Developers

iOS 12 is not Apple's only one-week two betas operating system. Four days after the release of beta 8, the company pushed watchOS 5 beta 9 to developers this afternoon. Once a proper configuration profile gets installed, you can download the beta via Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then select General - Software Update.

watchOS 5 brings features like yoga and hiking workouts, the Apple Podcast app, enhanced Siri and optimized notifications, Activity Competitions to compete with friends, Walkie-Talkie let you have a quick conversation with other people instantly, Siri watch face for third-party apps, Webkit support that allows you view content from some websites, etc.

We expect the official update of watchOS 5 to be released alongside Apple Watch Series 4 models in the upcoming fall event. Currently, aside from Series 0 that can't be updated to watchOS 5, all Apple Watch models support it.
