Bigger Display Than The iPhone XS Max? Samsung To Announce Galaxy Note 10 With 6.66-Inch Screen

Back in the day, when phablet first introduced, it was a joke because of its large screen, now look around the world's top smartphone manufacturers, including Apple, are competing with large-display phones to attract users. The iPhone XS Max already feels so huge as it equipped with a 6.5-inch screen, however, rumors suggest Samsung would launch the biggest "Note" series in the history next year.

According to a report from The Bell, Samsung Electronics has informed Samsung Display earlier this month that it has decided to use a 6.66-inch screen for the Galaxy Note 10. The South Korean firm has started a project called "Da Vinci" last month, and hopes it will be it will be completed in time for the unveiling of the Note 10 in August of 2019.

In contrast, Note 9 is measured at 6.4 inches, while the Galaxy S9+ is 6.2 inches, yet, the S10+ screen, which is said to be released in February next year, will be 6.44 inches, just a hair tinier than iPhone XS Max's 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED display, whereas the smallest iPhone you can buy has a 4.7-inch panel, that is, iPhone 7.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, he predicts that Apple will continue to use this year's screen sizes on next year's iPhone models, meaning they will not increase the screen size. In this way, Samsung appears will lead again smartphone screen size competition in the years to come.
