On World’s AIDS Day, Apple Turned Their Retail Stores’ Logo Into Red

Today is World AIDS Day, to promote it, the Apple Stores around the world has a red logo on it. Apple CEO Tim Cook also shared a few pictures on his Twitter account. In addition, the App Store also published as many as five stories of how you can prevent, help, and fight against AIDS.


Earlier this week, Apple Product Marketing Chief  Greg Joswiak reveals that Apple plans to turn 125 Apple Store logos into red, while replace the other 400 Apple Store logos with red stickers that’s designed to raise awareness of AIDS, a disease in which would eventually destroyed the immune system, and cause death.

In the coming week, Apple also plans to launch World AIDS Day promotion. From December 1st to 7th, every time Apple Pay is used in the Apple Store, or Apple Store app, and Apple website to buy Apple products, Apple will donate $1 to the organization that fights the disease (RED), in fact, Apple has matched $200 million dollar to RED.
