Apple Celebrates International Women's Day With A Variety Of Activities Throughout March

To celebrate International Women's Day, Apple has a variety of activities throughout March, including a new partnership with Girls Who Code, the Apple Stores' dedicated Today at Apple session, and the Apple Watch Challenge, the company announced in a press release today.

Apple is celebrating International Women’s Day throughout March by highlighting the stories and work of female developers, musicians, artists, photographers and entrepreneurs. Apple is also building on its commitment to education with a new partnership with Girls Who Code to expand learning opportunities for young women.
Apple will work with Girls Who Code to support programming opportunities for girls and young women in the United States, they will have the opportunity to learn the Apple programming language Swift. While every App of the day that will be featured on the App Store is either designed or founded by woman. In additon Apple is doing an Apple Watch Activity challenge where users can earn Award and stickers.
