Apple Released iOS 12.1.4 With FaceTime Bug Fix

Apple has just released a new iOS 12.1.4 update for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, the sixth update to the iOS 12 operating system, you can download it through Settings - General - Software Update. The new software fixed a Group FaceTime bug that could be exploited to eavesdrop on conversations.

The bug allows you connect to someone and hear their audio without the person even accepting the call, and it will continue to display a standard FaceTime incoming call interface. Although Apple quickly addressed the issue by disabling the feature through the server side, the feature won't be available on devices that are running from iOS 12.1 - iOS 12.1.3, since the server now back online.
Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation

Impact: The initiator of a Group FaceTime call may be able to cause the recipient to answer

Description: A logic issue existed in the handling of Group FaceTime calls. The issue was addressed with improved state management.

CVE-2019-6223: Grant Thompson of Catalina Foothills High School, Daven Morris of Arlington, TX
Apple also released an updated version of macOS 10.14.3 to fix the serious FaceTime bug.
