Apple today released the its latest Supplier Responsibility Progress Report. In 2018, all assembly plants have received UL Zero Waste To Landfill certification, saving billions of gallons of water, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Apple to 1,200 new jobs in San Diego

Apple will add 1,200 new jobs in San Diego at an upcoming engineering hub, the Cupertino firm plans to make the hometown of chipmaker Qualcomm, into a "principle engineering hub" with software and hardware positions "distributed across a number of specialty engineering fields." As for whether where would this new campus be located at, some says Apple is eyeing a building southwest of Qualcomm's main campus.
