New 2019 OLED iPhone Case Render Confirms The Triple-Lens Camera Design

Slashleaks shared a transparent third-party case renders for the 2019 OLED iPhones, again confirming that the iPhone will sport a triple-lens camera in a square bump with a flash in the top right corner; they were made based on rumors, and supposedly match the leaked design.

As early as April of 2018, we have heard that the 2019 iPhone will feature a triple-lens camera design and claims it will have a 6P lens with 5x zoom. Then the Wall Street Journal confirmed in January of this year that the new iPhone will use such system. In addition, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also predicted that the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED iPhones will include the three-camera system.

It's believed that the triple-lens camera system will consist of a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, as well as a 12-megapixel super wide-angle lens. Collectively it can offer a group of advantages, such as considerably enhanced low-light performance and able to produce sharper, cleaner images at a lower resolution.

As we have reported yesterday, the 2019 iPhone XR is likely to adopt the dual-lens camera setup, up from the single-lens configuration on previous generation. Other features rumored for this year's models including the Wireless PowerShare feature that allows your iPhone to be used as a wireless charger, a noticeable improvements in battery life, and a more andvanced A13 processor.
