Apple Card Launches Today For All Customers In The United States

In a press release today, Apple has announced that its own credit card service, Apple Card, is now available to all customers in the US. Previously, it was only limited to select customers who enrolled in the preview program.

“We’re thrilled with the overwhelming interest in Apple Card and its positive reception,” said Jennifer Bailey, Apple’s vice president of Apple Pay. “Customers have told us they love Apple Card’s simplicity and how it gives them a better view of their spending.”
Users can apply for can apply for Apple Card through the Wallet app on iPhone that's running on iOS 12.4 or new version and start using it right away with Apple Pay in stores, in apps and on websites, all process should within a couple of minutes.

Apple Card is a credit card service by Apple in partnership with the Goldman Sachs, it has no annual fees, no international fees, no late payment fees, and even no fees when exceeding credit limit. In addition to using it alongside the Apple Pay, a titanium credit card will also be offered for use in locations that do not support Apple Pay.

Moreover, Users will receive 1~3% Cashback in the form of the so-called "Daily Cash" with purchases made with Apple Card, Apple Pay, and the physical titanium card, and speaking of that, Apple also announced that Apple Card is extending 3 percent Daily Cash to more merchants and apps, starting with Uber and Uber Eats.

Apple Card also shows a range of payment options and calculates the interest cost on different payment amounts in real time. And, it uses uses machine learning and Apple Maps to clearly label transactions with merchant names and locations in Wallet, and provides weekly and monthly spending summaries.

Few things to keep in mind: Apple Card offers an APR between 12.99 and 23.99 percent based on your credit score, you need to be at least 18 to apply for the credit card, interest estimates are based on customer’s posted account balance at the time of the estimate and do not include pending transactions or any other purchases that may be made before the end of the billing period, and two-factor must be turned on and signing into iCloud.
