Internal Testing Of Apple Arcade Begins, Likely To Launch Alongside iOS 13

In March of this year, Apple announced the Apple Arcade game subscription service, let iOS, Mac and Apple TV users pay a monthly fee to play a variety of Apple Arcade exclusive games. At that time, the company did say that this game subscription service is set to launch this fall but didn't mention a specific timeframe. However, a new report from 9to5mac details that some of the Apple employees are beta testing Apple Arcade, so the launch could be soon to take place.

Currently, Apple has only allowed its employees to test Apple Arcade, which costs only $0.49 a month and offers a one-month free trial. Apple said the early access program will end when the official release of iOS 13 is launched to public users, which will be in September, and that's when Apple Arcade could accessible, noted that this is only an educated guess, as many games are still in-development builds.

Following you have paid the subscription, the Apple Arcade tab in the App Store app will display a variety of recommended games. When you download the game, click "Get", just like downloading a free app or game from the App Store. When Apple Arcade debuts, there will be roughly 100 games be available for download, without ads and additional in-app purchases.

Apple has yet to announce the subscription price, though some analysts expect Apple to price it at $10, alongside a one-month free trial, as well as Family Sharing support - allow up to six family members to access games for just one single subscription.
