We only have a few weeks to go for the iOS 13 beta testing season. We already love its new features, including Dark Mode as our favorite feature. But yesterday, iOS 13 developer beta 7 and public beta 6 has been released. Let’s explore what has changed and added in the new iOS beta updates.

First, the Find My app is almost ready for the official release of iOS 13. The Notify When Found feature is functional again, which signifies that everything in the app is working well.

Secondly, an asset found in the developer beta coding shows up a clue that the Apple special event is going to be on September 10th. The picture has the calendar app set to the date, with the file named “HoldForRelease”. This name is actually a screenshot of the rumored iPhone 11 model set to unveil next month. In other words, the iPhone 11 preorders are set to be on September 22nd.

Thirdly, the Search feature in the Mail app gets to do more stuff than just narrowing down search terms. This helps you find your email much easier and faster. Siri also no longer unexpectedly quits Reminders and Messages when you use your iPhone in a different language.

Lastly, the minor changes in the iOS beta update include the fix of the Do Not Disturb feature mirroring to Apple Watch and iPhone and the Apple Pay cards working after the iOS device exits Lost Mode. Issues depicted in iOS 13 beta includes the Notes app search feature giving out the wrong results, limited offline capability in Find My iPhone, inability to connect to iCloud in iWork apps and localization errors.

Apple Watch wearers, it is important to update your watchOS version to at least watchOS 6 beta 2 or later when your iPhone is running iOS 13 beta. If you don’t update your Apple Watch, your watch won’t connect to your iPhone and all of your complications will disappear.

All in all, it seems like that the iOS 13 beta is nearing the end of the summer beta testing season. Apple is already preparing the software for the official release, as they are sneaking in iPhone 11 leaks and rumors in the developer beta assets. We only have a few weeks before the September iPhone 11 event, meaning that the iOS 13 Golden Master is coming near. This means that we get to try out the iOS 13 public, final release before everyone else gets the major update in their hands.
