Apple Releases iOS 13.1.2, watchOS 6.0.1, macOS Catalina Beta 10, And iWork Updates

Apple today released a number of updates today, including iOS 13.1.2 and iPadOS 13.1.2 with bug fixes, watchOS 6.0.1 with bug fixes, as well as updates to its iWork apps: Numbers, Pages, and Keynote. Meanwhile, the company also seeded the 10th developer beta to an upcoming macOS Catalina.


Firstly, the new iOS 13.1.2 update introduced fixes for several bugs, including an issue where Camera may not work, an issue where the flashlight may not activate, an issue where shortcuts could not be run from HomePod iCloud, a problem with the iCloud backup, an issue where Bluetooth may disconnect on certain vehicles, and a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data. The update is available through Settings -> General -> Software Update.

When it comes to watchOS 6.0.1, Apple did a few of bug fixes as well, including an issue where the Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse watch face does not speak time, an issue where the calendar complication may not display events, a bug that could result in a loss of display calibration data. It's available for users to download and install via the Watch app on the iPhone, then General -> Software Update.

A new macOS 10.15 Catalina beta is also available for testing today who those enrolled in Apple's Developer Program and Apple's Beta Software Program. The beta update comes one week after the release of macOS 10.15 Catalina. It's said that Apple will officially release Catalina to the public on October 4th.

Also, Apple released the iWork suite for iOS, which includes Pages, Numbers, and Keynote have all been updated to version 5.2. The most crucial feature about this update is the addition of dark mode support and compatibility with iOS 13 new text editing and navigation gestures.
