Dune Pro: When PC Crosses Mac Pro, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

At the Worldwide Developers Conference in June this year, Apple unveiled the long-awaited modular Mac Pro that arrives with a new design in mind to deliver an excellent performance while maintaining optimum flexibility and configurability. Called Due Pro, this case features a stainless steel frame and an aluminum case The chassis contributes a similar grated design with a sound-damping accessory designed to help with acoustics.

The Dune Pro's housing is made of 3mm thick precision high-grade aluminum with two USB 3.1 ports on the top of the case. Supported motherboards include mini ITX, ATX, mATX, EATX, and EEB. The case has a 160 mm CPU fan gap and can be equipped with a 32-core processor, including the AMD THREADRIPPER 2990WX, Intel I9 9980XE, and more on supported motherboards.

As for graphics cards, Dune Pro's internal space can be installed with up to 380 mm graphics cards. In addition, a water-cooled location is reserved in the enclosure, and a 120mm, 240mm or 360mm water-cooled radiator with a fan can be utilized.

Dune Pro's expansion kit incorporates 5 SSD brackets, HDD brackets for 4 3.5-inch hard drives, motherboard connectors, and so on. 

Dune Pro will be crowdfunding on Kickstarter on October 21, 2019, although pricing and shipping dates are not yet known.
