macOS Catalina 10.15.1 Beta 3 Now Available To Developers For Testing Purposes

Apple today released the third developer beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.1, one week after it seeded the second beta. The new macOS Catalina beta can be update with the Software Update feature located in System Preferences.


The first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.1 added support for AMD Navi RDNA eGPU architecture and made some changes to the Photos app.

The first beta also includes the new Siri privacy settings, where a new splash screen will prompt you if you want to help improve Siri by allowing Apple to process and evaluate your audio clips. In addition, the beta also introduced the new emoji that are also available in iOS 13.2 beta.

As for beta 3 and beta 2, both of which are likely to only include bug fixes and performance improvements.

As of now, macOS Catalina 10.15.1 is only available to developers as a developer beta, but it will also be available to other beta testers in a few days. And macOS 10.15.1 will be publicly available in a few weeks.
