Apple is celebrating Earth Day today by highlighting apps that aimed to celebrate and protect our planet in the Today section of the App Store.
For example, Apple highlighted an app called Ecosia, which is a search engine that makes money through ads to plant trees and reverse the effects of climate change. An Apple Arcade game is also featured, "Beyond Blue." an open-world adventure title where players take on the role of Mirai, a marine biologist who explores a myriad of ocean life.
CEO Tim Cook also delivered his Earth Day message in a tweet today:
