HomePod 13.4.5 Software, tvOS 13.5, And macOS 10.15.5 Beta 5 Released

Alongside iOS 13.5 and iPadOS 13.5, Apple today released new 13.4.5 software for the HomePod and tvOS 13.5, as well as the fifth beta of an upcoming macOS Catalina 10.15.5 update to developers.

Both the new HomePod software update and tvOS 13.5 didn't include any new features, indicating that they most likely brought bug fixes and performance improvements.

macOS Catalina 10.15.5, on the other hand, introduced the Battery Health Management feature to the Mac, according to the Six Colors website, which aims to improve the battery life of the MacBook and reduce aging.

The feature is only compatible with MacBook that includes the Thunderbolt 3 connectors. Apple says that the goal of this feature is to reduce the chemical aging of the MacBook battery and extend its long-term life without affecting the day-to-day battery life.

macOS Catalina 10.15.5 also resolves the issue that caused massive data transfers to RAID volumes to freeze the Finder app.

Apple is expected to release macOS 10.15.5 to customers within the next week, if not sooner.
