Leaker Claims iPhone 12 Lineup Minimum Storage Capacity To Start At 128GB

Jon Prosser is back with his Apple leaks today, saying that the minimum storage capacity of the iPhone 12 would start at 128GB, twice as much base storage as the 64GB configuration that Apple offers currently.

The 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will come in 128GB and 256GB options, whilst the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will be available in three storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

Over the years, Apple has steadily expanded the iPhones' base storage capacity, moving from 16GB to 32GB with the iPhone 7 lineup and from 32GB to 64GB with the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.

All four iPhone 12 will adopt OLED display, support 5G, and come with the A14 chip. Yesterday, we reported that iPhone 12 Pro possibly be featured with a 120Hz dynamic refresh rate ProMotion Display, a rear camera system with 3x optical zoom, and an improved Face ID system that supports more angles.

In September, Apple is anticipated to announce its iPhone 12 lineup, though at least one model may not be available in retail till around October or November.
