Apple Rolls Out First Public Beta Of iOS 14 And tvOS 14 To Testers

Following the release of the second developer beta of iOS and iPadOS 14, Apple has today released the first public beta of iOS and iPadOS, allowing non-developer groups to test out the new operating systems. Meanwhile, the company also made the tvOS 14 available to public beta testers.

To sign up for Apple’s public beta testing program, go to Apple’s website right here. Testers should still expect performance and stability issues when running the iOS 14 public beta on primary devices for the time being. Apple recommended testers to submit their feedback using the Feedback Assistant app.

iOS 14 introduces the biggest update ever to Home Screen pages with beautifully redesigned widgets and the App Library, picture-in-picture, a new way to tap into the App Store with App Clips, built-in Translate app, Sleep Tracking in the Health app, improvements to Messages, and much more.

tvOS 14, on the other hand, brings a new Picture in Picture mode, multiuser gaming support for Apple Arcade, a new Home section in Control Center for controlling HomeKit-connected products, plus the option to change screensavers.

Apple is expected to release iOS 14 and tvOS 14 to the public this fall.
