iPhone 12 Lineup Alleged To Have Smaller Battery Capacity Than iPhone 11

MySmartPrice, an India-based technology and gadget research site has shared pictures that are alleged to be the battery capacity of Apple's upcoming iPhone 12 lineup. The certified device models are A2471, A2431, and A2466.

According to the certification, the battery capacity of the iPhone 12 series are:
  • iPhone 12 (5.4-inch)—A247A—2227mAh
  • iPhone 12 Max (6.1-inch)—A2431—2775mAh
  • iPhone 12 Pro (6.1-inch)-A2431-2775mAh
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7-inch)—A2466—3687mAh
Apple has significantly increased the battery capacity of the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, but the device is also thicker and heavier than the XS and XS Max, so it's feasible that Apple may want to make it more compact again, as rumors have suggested that the lineup will adopt a new design similar to the iPhone 4.

For those who don't know, iPhone 11 Pro battery capacity is 3046mAh, iPhone XS is 2658 mAh; iPhone 11 Pro Max battery capacity is 3969mAh, iPhone XS Max is 3174mAh.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the iPhone with the largest battery capacity and has a battery life of 5 hours longer than the iPhone XS Max.
