Apple Releases Fourth Beta Of iOS 14, watchOS 7, And tvOS 14

Apple today released the fourth beta of iOS and iPadOS 14, two weeks after the company released the third beta to developers for testing purposes. Meanwhile, Apple has also rolled out the fourth beta of watchOS 7 and tvOS 14.


Developers can download the proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center to install the betas. To update to iOS 14 beta 4, you can do that by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. For developers who want to test watchOS 7 beta 4, which can be installed through the Watch app on the iPhone, then General > Software Update, while tvOS 14 betas can be downloaded using Xcode.

Today's beta 4 releases introduce a new ‌Apple TV‌ widget, search improvements including top hits are now displayed underneath web suggestions, and 3D Touch is again working on compatible devices.

iOS 14 beta 4 also brought support for the Apple and Google Exposure Notification API for COVID-19 contact tracing, while users will also have the ability to have multiple apps and changing the active apps.
