The schematic diagram in the figure shows that the new iPad Air will adopt an edge-to-edge-screen design similar to the iPad Pro, but it will not be implemented with a Face ID module, instead, it will utilize Touch ID that is integrated with the top power button coincides with the past rumor that Apple is developing a device with Touch ID built-in the power button.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously stated that Apple will launch the "iPhone SE Plus" with a side button that includes the Touch ID sensor next year.
