Leaker Claims Apple Watch 'SE' Will Be Announced On September 15

Jon Prosser, a somewhat reliable leaker, claimed on Twitter this morning, that the Apple Watch "SE" will be announced at Apple's September 15 virtual event, with a design similar to Apple Watch Series 4.

Prosser said that Apple Watch "SE" comes in two models, 40mm and 44mm, and adopts the design of Apple Watch Series 4. However, it does not support the always-on display feature, does not include an ECG electrocardiogram app, and will sport an M9 chip, a motion processor that can be found in older devices such as the iPhone 6s, the original iPhone SE, and the fifth-generation iPad.

Furthermore, the leaker said that the so-called Apple Watch Pro model has also been listed, which may be an upgraded version of Apple Watch Series 5.

Apple this week announced that it will hold an event on September 15, when the company is said to debut a new generation of Apple Watch, as well as the redesigned iPad Air.
